Goodwood Festival of SpeedFlagship Event

Jay & Kay are delighted to offer a day out to one of the most prestigious events in the world.  Known as the “ULTIMATE GARDEN PARTY” this event is not just for racing fans, but for people of all ages and from all walks of life.

Held in the beautiful parkland surrounding Goodwood House, the Festival of Speed is motor-sports ultimate summer garden party, an intoxicating celebration of the world’s most glamorous sport.

This year to mark the silver jubilee of this event, there is an added bonus of an air show to accompany all of the other activities on the ground.

Nowhere else will you get so close to the cars and bikes as they blast up the Hillclimb track; nowhere else will you enjoy such unrestricted access to the machines and the drivers who made them famous.

Historically, Saturday 19th June 1993, was a momentous day for Goodwood: it was the opening day of the very first Festival of Speed, aimed at bringing motorsport back to this historically important venue.  No barriers, no wire fences, a paddock open to all, and a Hillclimb that snaked to the top of Goodwood Park.  From the beginning, it was “the garden party of the Gods”.

On the manicured lawns of an English stately home, the tranquil sophistication of a summer garden party is shattered by a piercing wail as a Formula One car screeches up the front drive, wreathed in tyre smoke.  It’s an unforgettable experience: a visceral assault on the senses; an intoxicating display of speed and power; a unique joining of the past, present and future of automotive.  Welcome to the Festival of Speed.

Join us for an exhilarating day out at this fabulous event.
