The most popular destination for our customers, Eastbourne is a delight whatever time of the year with a well looked after level promenade with plenty of seating. Add to this a fine shopping centre and plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants, it’s easy to see why Eastbourne is a firm favourite. Depart 5pm.
We traverse country lanes to arrive in East Grinstead for a refreshment break before driving through the scenic Ashdown Forest to the Bluebell Railway at Sheffield Park. Enjoy a leisurely return steam pulled train ride along the famous Bluebell route. Our journey home will take in more of the wonderful scenery. Due to forces of nature, we cannot guarantee the bluebells to be in bloom.

An afternoon at this acclaimed garden centre, with an array of different goods and plants. Depart 4pm.
Rochester Sweeps Festival
Starting at 10am Saturday, the Rochester Sweeps Festival is a celebration of the coming of spring, and as May Day was also the traditional holiday for chimney sweeps or Climbing Boys as they were officially known, the two aspects have combined to produce a unique event. Depart 5pm.
Hastings Jack In The Green Festival
The Jack in the Green Festival is an annual event that takes place all over the seaside resort of Hastings. This is a true British May Day celebration not to be missed, which is described as the celebration of Morris dancing and traditional merriment, with lots of live street music and traditional street entertainers. Depart 5pm.
RHS Wisley Spring Crafts Fair
This event is one of the largest to be held at Wisley. Stalls and displays are mainly in floored marquees within the beauty of the surrounding spring gardens. Contemporary craft and art, huge plant collections, food village and live music. Depart 4.30pm.
Secret Gardens of Sandwich & Cream Tea at The Walpole
Designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens in 1912, the Secret Gardens of Sandwich are a plant lover’s paradise. Within the gardens sits the Salutation Hotel, a |Grade 1 listed building. After our morning in Sandwich we depart for Cliftonville and the Walpole Bay Hotel built is 1914, a talk on the history of the hotel and a chance to view the museum as well as a delicious cream tea is included.
Brighton is another firm favourite with our customers, with the Royal Pavilion, Pier, elegant architecture and fine shopping, its easy to see why. Depart 5pm.
Arundel Castle & Museum
Arundel Castle, perched high above the town, is one of the most imposing castles in the UK. The castle is steeped in history and is set in beautiful grounds. Admission to the museum is also included. During the day you can stroll in the quaint town which has an abundance of art galleries, individual shops, cafes and restaurants. Depart 5pm.
RHS Malvern Spring Festival
From RHS Gold Medal winning show gardens to top quality specialist plant and floral exhibitors in the beautiful floral marquee, there is no better place for gardeners of all abilities to discover summer inspiration and enjoy a great day of riotous colour. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Depart 4.30pm.
Beautiful Bournemouth on the south coast is a very popular resort, with a fine beach, promenade, parks and great shopping all within a short walking distance of each other, making for a lovely day at the seaside. Depart 5pm.
Guildford & The Horse Drawn Barge IONA with Cream Tea
Through the lovely Surrey Countryside we arrive at Guildford for some free time and the chance to grab some lunch, not too much though as in the afternoon we travel down to Godalming and take a horse drawn barge along the banks of the River Wey with a tasty cream tea to enjoy whilst indulging the tranquillity of the cruise.
Faversham on Market Day & Whitstable
Located in the heart of Faversham’s historic centre you will find Kent’s oldest market, selling a large range of goods of all types. After lunch (not included) we head to Whitstable for an afternoon at the seaside. Depart 5pm.
Canterbury & Herne Bay
A city and coast delight today as we first visit the Cathedral City of Canterbury, with today being market day before heading off to the coast and the afternoon at the lovely resort of Herne Bay. Depart 5pm.
One of the National Trust’s most visited properties, located in the Aylesbury Vale, this Grade I listed house was built in the style of a French Chateau between 1874 and 1889 for Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild, as a weekend residence for grand entertaining and as a setting for his collection. The house and its contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1957. Admission to house and stunning gardens included. Depart 4.30pm.
Bressingham Steam & Gardens
World renowned gardener, Alan Bloom, created a 20 acre horticultural garden of excellence that he combined with his love of steam in mind. There are four narrow gauge railways with several types of steam engines that traverse the wonderful gardens. With many other attractions such as the steam museum, the gallopers and the recreation of the famous Dad’s Army town, Walmington-on-Sea, a great day out is assured. Depart 5pm.
Alexandra Palace Antiques & Collectors Fair
With well over 300 quality antique dealers from around the UK, the beautiful, historic setting of Alexandra Palace, this fair is a perfect hunting ground for beautiful collectors’ pieces, ceramics, artwork, jewellery and much, much more. Depart 4pm.
2 Stunning Gardens – Leonardslee & Borde Hill
Today we visit two glorious gardens, firstly Leonardslee Gardens, described as the finest woodland gardens in England, a 240 acre, Grade I listed garden of real beauty. Then we take the short journey in the afternoon to another stunningly beautiful garden, Borde Hill, set within a 200 acre parkland, with amazing views across the Sussex High Weald. Depart 5pm.
Cotswolds on Market Day
We make our way to the beautiful area of The Cotswolds, viewing some of the prettiest villages and scenery in the UK. Our first destination is Moreton-in-Marsh, with its small high street market dating back over a 1000 years. After time spent here we then travel the short distance to another beautiful Cotswold town, Stow-on-the-Wold, with many sandstone buildings of yesteryear. Depart 4.30pm.
Monthly Mystery Lunch Club
Another tour roaming around the countryside seeking a nice venue for an inclusive lunch somewhere enjoyable. Guess what? The driver has the answer!
A visit to the seaside today at Worthing, with its lovely wide promenade, famous pier, many cafes and bars. Depart 5pm.
Rye & Hastings
Rye is a medieval gem and today is market day. What first? Exploring or bargain hunting? After time here we then move on to the coastal resort of Hastings. Depart Hastings at 5pm.
Exbury Gardens & The New Forest
The gardens are a spectacular 200 acre site, world famous fir the Rothschild Collection of rhododendrons, azaleas, camellias, rare trees and shrubs, a riot of colour at this time of year. Capture Exbury’s hidden beauty on a 20 minute trip aboard the 12 quarter inch gauge steam railway (included). After time here, we take a drive through the New Forest with a visit to Lyndhurst, the main town of the forest. Depart 4.30pm.

Kent & East Sussex Railway with Ploughman’s Lunch
The kENT & East Sussex Railway is a preserved steam railway from Tenterden to Bodiam and today we take you direct to Tenterden for some free time before joining the train at 1.15pm for a ride through the Kent countryside in a period carriage whilst enjoying an inclusive ploughman’s lunch with tea and coffee. On our return we board the coach and have a scenic drive towards home.
Chichester & Bognor Regis
A day spent at the wonderful Cathedral City of Chichester followed by the afternoon in the traditional seaside resort of Bognor Regis.
