Bentley Priory & the RAF Museum London – New Excursion

A fascinating and insightful day out as we travel to Middlesex and Bentley Priory Museum, best known for its pivotal role as Headquarters Fighter Command during the Battle of Britain in 1940. We receive a guided tour explaining the role the facility played during this decisive battle of World War II, which was fought in the skies above Britain between 10 July and 31 October 1940. Had the Battle been lost, Britain would have almost certainly been invaded by Nazi Germany. We then make the short trip to the RAF Museum London. From historic aircraft to interactive experiences, take time to explore six hangars covering the rich history of the RAF.
