Devon – Babbacombe
Babbacombe lies just a mile from Torquay yet is light years away in character as Babbacombe is a very laid back, old world resort with breathtaking views from its cliff top position 240ft above Oddicombe beach, which can be reached via the famous Babbacombe Cliff Railway. The beautiful Babbacombe Downs has the highest promenade in the country and boasts attractive gardens and a theatre with only a short walk to shops, restaurants and cafés. Two very distinguished attractions, Babbacombe Model Village and Bygones are only a short walk from the hotel. A lovely relaxing resort.

Holiday Itinerary
4 Nights - all holidays | A full day firstly to Newton Abbot which is a historic market town surrounded by beautiful South Devon countryside. The town is home to a large range of shops, a vibrant market each Wednesday, restaurants, bars and open spaces. We then travel on to Widecombe in the Moor, a beautiful village in the Dartmoor National Park. Its church is known as the Cathedral of the Moors on account of its tall tower and its size, relative to the small population it serves. It is a favourite tourist centre, partly for its scenic character and partly for its connection to the popular song “Widecombe Fair”. A half day visit to Brixham where life in the busy Devon fishing town has always centred around the harbour, where heritage trawlers jostle for space with dayboats. Brixham is the quintessential English harbour town, with a colourful and vibrant feel all year round. |
Price is per person on half board basis unless stated. Weekend breaks include Sunday lunch.
