Llanberis is a beautiful village idyllically located on the edge of Lake (Llyn) Padarn at the foot of Wales highest mountain, Snowdon. The village is packed with many attractions to keep visitors busy for ages such as two narrow- gauge lines, the Llanberis Lake Railway and Snowdon Mountain Railway, both included in our June holiday. The latter climbs to the peak of Mt Snowdon, where you will have stunning views and the former runs along the picturesque lake. The location of the hotel must be the most scenic for our festive themed holiday, with hopefully snow capping the peaks of the mountains to add to the festive ambience.

At the foot of Mount Snowdon, The Royal Victoria Hotel, set in 30 acres of grounds amidst stunning scenery, is cradled between the lakes Llyn Padarn and Llyn Peris. Holiday Itinerary
| Excursions - Apr and Dec | Full day scenic journey to probably the most beautiful village in Snowdonia, Beddgelert. After time here we travel to Caernarfon, famous for its magnificent castle. Full day starting at the famous train station we can’t spell on the Isle of Anglesey, we will let you say it! Then onto the town of Conwy, another stunning Castle town before visiting the lovely Betws-y-Coed before returning to the hotel via the Llanberis Pass. |
| Excursions - June | Full day visiting North Wales premier resort, Llandudno which includes an afternoon ride to the summit of Great Orme and its spectacular views. Full day on Little Trains of Wales, firstly from Porthmadog on the Ffestiniog Railway to Blaenau Ffestiniog. After time here, we take a scenic drive to Llanuwchllyn. We then board another train riding along the banks of the Llyn Tegid to Bala. We have more glorious scenery on our drive back through Snowdonia to the hotel. A free day in the village of Llanberis but with a twist, as we have included a morning return trip on the famous Snowdon Mountain Railway. |
