In 1666 the Great Fire swept away much of the London of our ancestors but the flames died to ashes to leave one corner of the City untouched. The morning tour includes the precincts of St. Paul’s, a rose garden in the haunted ruins of Greyfriars, Postman’s Park, historic Smithfield and London’s oldest parish church of St Bartholemew the Great. With a gentle walking tour, a coach tour and a relaxing canal cruise through Regents Park, this is a day of great contrasts and stories. We have the services and knowledge of a Blue Badge guide who joins us for the day who will enthral you with stories and be on hand to answer your questions throughout the day. Time will also be given for you to get refreshments and lunch along the way but these are not included. Please note that the walking part of this tour is very flat and gentle but would not be suitable for persons heavily dependant on sticks or a rollator.
