Step back in time as we embark on a very entertaining and retro day out aboard a vintage coach for a tour of some of the most picture postcard villages in Essex. We start our day at Thaxted, Queen of Essex, enjoying morning refreshments before boarding the coach where we are joined by a Blue Badge Guide for an informative and fun tour. During the day we will visit the old wool church where English composer Gustav Holst played the organ before we weave past black and white Tudor houses and jolly colour-washed homes from the medieval to the Georgian period to the beautiful wonky old Guildhall. A Ploughman’s lunch is included along with an afternoon cuppa and a slice of cake before this very special day out concludes.
