A visit to two attractions in west London. We begin at Strawberry Hill House & Garden, an extraordinary building and famous as Britain’s finest example of Georgian Gothic revival architecture and home to an increasingly important collection of paintings and objects. We are given a guided tour of the house and will have time after this to explore the gorgeous surrounding gardens. We then head to Fulham Palace House & Garden which for over 1300 years was the home of the Bishops of London. This historic house and Botanical garden is now open for all to enjoy. In the house, connect with the past in the museum and historic rooms and discover the buildings story through the people who have lived there. Explore the second oldest botanical garden in London, spanning 13 acres, and seek out the oldest resident, a 500 year old Holm oak tree, whilst you experience a true urban oasis. A fascinating excursion.
