Its Halloween folks, so why not join us for a mysterious trip through the remote landscape of Romney Marsh. We start with a short visit to Dobbies Garden Centre in Ashford. After time here we are joined by our guide who will provide commentary as we tour the wide horizons of Romney Marsh which is dotted with small villages, ancient churches and pubs. This was a big smuggling area where ghost stories were told to explain those mysterious bumps in the night. Enjoy an early evening dinner (around 4pm) of locally caught fresh fish, of course with chips, served in the famous Pilot Inn pub in Dungeness. This unspoilt pub was first built using the timbers of a Spanish ship deliberately wrecked and looted for its cargo of brandy. And is it haunted? Of course it is! Just don’t go to the loo on your own!
