We start our day with a visit to the Van Hage Garden Centre near Ware in Hertfordshire. Van Hage is more than just a Garden Centre; offering a treasure-trove of exciting and practical ideas for gardeners and home lovers, with a wide range of inspirational brands, expert advice, exciting events and top-quality catering to delight you on every visit. A perfect place to stretch your legs. After a little time here we make the short journey to Ware Quay where we board our boat for the highlight of the tour. Your 3 hour cruise starts and finishes in the historic town of Ware and whilst onboard you will be served your delicious fish & chip lunch with tea & coffee and all the traditional condiments. Your cruise will pass the unique Ware gazebos that overhang the rivers edge before cruising through the contrasting town centre and the beautiful Lea Valley’s Amwell Nature Reserve which attracts ducks, gulls and waders. Seven species of warbler also breed here in addition to good populations of reed bunting, meadow pipit and skylark.
