Kentish Lady and Allington Castle with tea and cake
We visit Maidstone and after time here we make our way to board The Kentish Lady for this exclusive and unique excursion to experience the scenic River Medway combined with a guided tour of Allington Castle’s beautiful gardens, courtyards and also its impressive Great Hall. Allington Castle is possibly Kent’s best kept secret as it is NOT open to the public and can only be visited as a group via the Kentish Lady. The 13th century medieval castle is nestled in 42 acres of beautiful gardens next to the river. This privately-owned estate with Italian gardens, lavender walk, parterre, courtyard & formal ponds, surrounded by a moat and fronted by two lakes, really is an incredible place to visit.
