Day Excursions

Firstly we spend time in the small market town of Arundel in the South Downs National Park in West Sussex. Arundel combines 1000 years of history with independent shops, contemporary art galleries, restaurants, cafés and delightful drinking spots. Without a doubt, the most dominant structure is the impressive medieval castle which looms high on the hill above the town, there is plenty to discover in this fantastic castle.

Firstly we visit the beautiful and historic seaside resort of Hythe with its stunning views of the English Channel and Victorian promenade. Following time here we travel on to Folkestone with its breath-taking beauty, cobbled streets and stunning shorelines. A great day out at two of the best seaside resorts in Kent.

Now in its 7th year, Worthing FEASTival showcases local, national and international food and drink for a celebration of foodie fun. Steam into Steyne Gardens for a fun packed food focused festival featuring street foods and bars together with a range of original grocery foods, craft stalls, world street eats and pop up kitchens.

Elton Hall near Peterborough has been called home by the Proby family since 1660. We start our day with light refreshments on arrival, before being escorted – in small groups - on a guided tour of this wonderful property. This extraordinary, romantic, part Gothic house offers a fascinating mixture of styles, reflecting the taste and interests of succeeding generations.

We travel to Bedfordshire as Shuttleworth’s most highly anticipated air show returns for 2025 as they present a fully packed day of events and activities celebrating all of those who have given their service on land, in the air, and at sea. See an incredible range of military vehicles and aircraft on display and enjoy historical re-enactments throughout the day.
