In a commanding seafront position, and a historic feature of Sidmouth’s esplanade, The Bedford is now the pride of the Pyne family who oversee the day to day running of this excellent hotel. Many rooms boast breathtaking panoramic views across Lyme Bay. As you would expect, the hotel also has comfortable lounges and offers a wide selection of good food and wine in a choice of attractive surroundings. All rooms are tastefully decorated and modernised whilst keeping their traditional feel. The bedrooms are individually styled, all have en-suite facilities, television and hairdryer. A lift serves all floors.

Holiday Itinerary
| 4 Nights June and August | A full day taking a leisurely drive to the seaside resort of Exmouth. We spend a few hours here before taking an included relaxing cruise on the river Exe. Another full day visiting Honiton on market day before spending the afternoon at the pretty Bicton Botanical Gardens, where entry is included. |
