Originally dependent on fishing, farming and salt production, Hayling Island is now known for its Funland Amusement Park and holiday centres, which made the island a popular resort from the 1930s onwards. The island’s proximity to Portsmouth, Chichester and Emsworth makes it an ideal base for touring.

Holiday Itinerary
| 4 Nights April | A full day to the enchanting Cathedral City of Chichester on market day. After lunch we then travel the short journey to the historic town of Arundel, overlooked by its imposing castle and Roman Catholic Cathedral. A half day visit to the ever popular Gunwharf Quays, a fine Harbourside retail outlet in the city of Portsmouth. |
| 4 Nights July | A special full day excursion today as we travel to Southampton Town Quay to board the Ocean Scene for a trip across to Cowes on the Isle of Wight to savour the world famous yachting regatta of Cowes week. Approx. 3 hours ashore and enjoy a sumptuous cream tea on the return cruise. A half day excursion to the tranquil seaside resort of Bognor Regis. |
