Holiday Itinerary
Day 1 | We take the ferry from Dover to Calais, then onto our hotel in Valkenburg. |
Day 2 | A free day in “Christmas Town” to enjoy the magical markets whether above or below ground in the stunning caves (small entrance charge). As the light fades, the true wonder of the twinkling lights and atmosphere abound. A wonderful day. |
Day 3 | Today we cross the border and visit the small but beautiful Christmas Market of Monschau, once voted the most beautiful in Germany. Lots going on today with Brass Bands, visits from Santa and much more. |
Day 4 | We depart the hotel and drive into Belgium and the historical city of Bruges, another destination with a wonderful Christmas atmosphere and lovely markets to wander before heading up to Calais for the ferry back to Dover and home. |
Price is per person on half board basis unless stated. Weekend breaks include Sunday lunch.
