This brilliant Speyside tour is based at the 4 star Grant Arms Hotel in beautiful Grantown-on- Spey, a planned settlement of glorious 18th and 19th century highland buildings. While here we step back in time to Culloden, enjoy some wildlife spotting, discover the secrets of whisky making and visit one of the few remaining private castles in Scotland.

Holiday Itinerary
Day 1 | We head north to our overnight hotel in Carlisle. OVERNIGHT BAG REQUIRED |
Day 2 | We continue our journey through some beautiful scenery, with a stop at Pitlochry, on our way to the Scottish Highlands and the Grant Arms Hotel. |
Day 3 | A visit to contrasting attractions as we initially spend time at The Culloden Battlefield Visitor Centre, where you can experience and discover plenty about this famous, bloody battle. We then visit the city of Inverness before taking a cruise aboard the Dolphin Spirit in the Inverness Firth to hopefully view dolphins, seals and otters, whilst listening to an informative commentary. |
Day 4 | We spend the day at the Highland Wildlife Park, set in glorious woodlands where you can see many native animals as well as animals from all over the world. |
Day 5 | Firstly a visit to the delightful Ballindalloch Castle & Gardens. We then head to Elgin and the Glen Moray Distillery, in the heart of the most famous whisky region in Scotland, Speyside, where a guided tour and tasting is offered. We return to the hotel via some beautiful Scottish scenery. |
Day 6 | After a hearty Scottish breakfast, we head south to our overnight hotel in the North East of England. OVERNIGHT BAG REQUIRED |
Day 7 | Our last day travelling home with comfort stops en-route. |
