The Severn Valley is a beautiful area, ranging from as far north as Ironbridge running through wonderful scenery as far south as Gloucester. As described by the word “Valley”, the river in this area has very narrow flood plains which are surrounded by rolling hillside as the river meanders its way to the Severn Estuary. It is notable that there are no road bridges that cross the river from Bridgnorth down to Bewdley, with a main road either side of the river, allowing for excellent access to this stunning area. Holiday Itinerary
| Day 1 | Travel to Droitwich Spa with a visit to Stratford upon Avon en-route. |
| Day 2 | A delightful day following the river Severn, firstly to the gorgeous Georgian town of Bewdley on the banks of the Severn. We then make our way to Stourport on Severn where we take a 1 hour cruise on the river, before taking a scenic drive back to the hotel. |
| Day 3 | Again we follow the river Severn today visiting 3 places, firstly the Cathedral City of Worcester before then visiting the beautiful town of Upton upon Severn. After time here, we then visit another gem, the medieval town of Tewkesbury. |
| Day 4 | Today we join the Severn Valley Railway for a delightful steam through wonderful countryside from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth. After time in Bridgnorth we make the short journey to Ironbridge, where the famous Bridge spans the river Severn. |
| Day 5 | After a great week visiting so many lovely places, it is time to make our way home. |
