Holiday Itinerary
Day 1 | We make our way to Mid-Devon, arriving in Tiverton mid-late afternoon. |
Day 2 | Firstly we spend a few hours at the stunning Hestercombe Gardens which includes an hour with the head gardener. We then travel onto Sheppy’s Cider for a tour of the complex including a visit to the orchards, press house, vat house and the museum. If that’s not enough, tasting and a cream tea are also included. |
Day 3 | Today we take the steam train from Bishop’s Lydeard through 22 miles of the beautiful Somerset countryside to the coastal resort of Minehead where the afternoon is spent before returning to the hotel by coach. |
Day 4 | Time to enjoy the delights of Tiverton and take a relaxing journey on a horse drawn barge traversing the Grand Western Canal. |
Day 5 | Unfortunately, it’s time to head home. |
Price is per person on half board basis unless stated. Weekend breaks include Sunday lunch.
