|4 Nights - Yorkshire Wildlife Park - NEW holiday for 2024
|We make our way to South Yorkshire with a visit to the beautiful town of Stamford, arriving at our hotel mid to late afternoon.
|A trip to Lincoln, starting with a morning visit to the magnificent Lincoln Cathedral. One of Europe’s finest gothic buildings dating back to the 11th century, our visit includes a 1 hour tour where an expert guide takes us on a journey revealing hundreds of years of history. We have free time to wander around the city before we take a relaxing 1 hour guided canal cruise taking in the sights of Lincoln and the surrounding countryside.
|We make the most of our unique location with a day pass for the Yorkshire Wildlife Park. As the UK’s number one walkthrough wildlife experience, you are in for a ‘roarsome’ day out! Among the near 100 different species, highlights include Project Polar, home to the only polar bears in England; magnificent African lions in the seven-acre Lion Country; a family of Californian sea lions in the largest purpose built habitat of its kind in the world; and the 300-metre raised walkway above Land of the Tigers. Other creatures to look out for include rhinos, giraffes, red pandas, leopards, monkeys, lemurs, zebras, and many more!
|A visit to the seaside with a 45 minute ride on a historic miniature railway along the picturesque Humberside Coast aboard the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway. The trip includes a visit to the smallest pub on the planet, The Signal Box Inn! We also enjoy some time at leisure to relax in the Victorian seaside resort of Cleethorpes.
|After breakfast, unfortunately, we make our way home.
