The Howden Court Hotel
Built in 1860 The Howden Court Hotel is a period Grade II listed property and retains many of the architectural features of the day. The hotel is family run, with a friendly and attentive service a priority. Located in the centre of Torquay and has a 3/4 acre garden with access via ‘Croft Meadow Walk’ private pathway to Torquay seafront and harbour. Offering 30 guest bedrooms, 10 of which have wet room facilities. All bedrooms are tastefully decorated, en-suite and provide beverage making facilities, TV and hairdryers. The bar comes alive at night, with a real wood dance floor for you to shake off some of those extra pounds after indulging in the chefs delicious dinner. You can walk directly to the patio through the bar doors and enjoy a drink or a chat outside whilst taking in the beautiful views of the south facing garden. The bar is the meeting place for guests during the evening time with live entertainment most evenings including bingo and quizzes all adding to the enjoyment while staying at the Howden Court Hotel. Please note the lift does not serve all floors and some rooms are only accessible by stairs – please ask for details when booking.
