Holiday Itinerary
| Day 1 | We travel to Gatwick for our flight to the beautiful island of Jersey. |
| Day 2 | Today, we embark on a full day step-on guided tour of the island, visiting St Aubin’s Bay, St Brelade’s Bay, Corbière Lighthouse, St Ouen’s Bay, Grève de Lecq Barracks and Gorey Harbour. We also call at the Hamptonne Country Life Museum, where a 15th century country farm estate, includes a cider barn and orchard, offer wonderful insight into the island’s rural life and cider-making history. |
| Day 3 | This morning we enjoy a wartime-themed tour of Jersey with a specialist guide: delving into the island’s experience of military occupation by Nazi Germany between 1940-1945 and visiting some key WWII sites. We then head to the Jersey War Tunnels, built during the German occupation; exploring the subterranean exhibitions chronicling the hardships and heroism of the islanders during this period. The tunnels are over 1,000m long, so some walking is needed, but the terrain is level. |
| Day 4 | A free day to explore the delights of the local area. |
| Day 5 | Following breakfast, we head back to the airport for our flight home. |
