As most of you are aware, our holidays to Lake Garda were very popular and sought after before the horrid pandemic struck, so we are delighted to return to the beautiful shores of this stunning region. Our holiday is based at the excellent 4* Hotel Sole, amazingly located right on the shore at the northern tip of the lake and bang in the middle of the medieval town of Riva del Garda. The views across the lake from Riva, complemented by the majestic mountains that surround the clear blue water, are awesome. With an itinerary visiting some of the most beautiful lakeside towns and the romantic city of Verona, home of Romeo & Juliet, this really is a quality holiday in an absolutely delightful location.

The Hotel Sole
The Hotel Sole is located in an enviable position directly on the shoreline and in Riva del Garda’s lively piazza, a stone’s throw from the beach and the resort’s bell tower, The hotel’s air-conditioned public rooms include an American bar, reading room and ice-cream parlour, there is also a rooftop terrace with sun loungers and a terraced pizzeria that occupies a lovely stretch along the lakeside promenade. A small Spa with sauna, hot tub and Turkish bath is available for guests at extra charge. The 4 star hotel has 81 rooms and facilities include free Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, television, minibar and private bathroom. All rooms are very quiet and equipped with every comfort, and some have a balcony and lake view. Hotel Sole boasts a charming panoramic terrace where its guests can enjoy breakfast, accompanied by the gentle lapping of the waves. What better way to start your day.

Holiday Itinerary
| Day 1 | We travel via the Dover-Calais ferry to our overnight hotel in Saarbrucken in Germany. OVERNIGHT BAG REQD. |
| Day 2 | We continue south through some stunning scenery on our way to Riva Del Garda. |
| Day 3 | A free day to enjoy the beautiful lakeside views whilst walking along the shore or just relax in the many waterfront squares. |
| Day 4 | A full day excursion to the romantic city of Verona, renowned for its association with Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, a charming city with well preserved architecture and pedestrian friendly streets make it a joy to explore on foot. |
| Day 5 | A free day or enjoy an optional cruise to one of the prettiest towns on the lake, Malcesine, payable locally. |
| Day 6 | A lovely day visiting more beautiful lakeside towns, firstly Desenzano, then onto the jewel of the lake, Sirmione. |
| Day 7 | A half day visit to Limone, probably the prettiest town on the left hand shoreline. |
| Day 8 | Sadly, we depart this beautiful place and head for our overnight hotel in Germany. OVERNIGHT BAG REQD. |
| Day 9 | Our final day sees us drive up to Calais where we take the ferry back home. |
