Day excursions

A spectacular day out at the wonderful Sandringham Estate for the Christmas Craft, Food and Gift Fair and lots of Christmas cheer. Handcrafted items and gifts presented by well over a hundred craftsmen, artists and designers, a fabulous array of food and drink in the food hall with great entertainment whilst you eat.

For our annual pilgrimage to the Thursford Christmas Spectacular this year we are staying overnight at the lovely Best Western Knights Hill Hotel & Spa situated near to Kings Lynn. The show itself is fantastic with stunning costumes, lighting, decorations and awesome songs.

Magical memories are around every corner when venturing to Christmas at Blenheim Palace. Step into the sparkle on the world-class illuminated trail, stock-up on inspired presents in the Christmas Market, or simply enjoy the story of Cinderella lovingly brought to life within the Palace itself.

Initially we make a short visit to Polhill Garden Centre and a chance to pick up those all important purchases for the season. Following a short time here, we venture onto Hever Castle, where a delightful afternoon awaits including a delicious two course Christmas Lunch. As dusk falls, watch in awe as the gardens and castle come to life with magical lighting.

We arrive at RHS Wisley to view the many attractions on offer. Shortly before the park closes to the public, to set up for the Glow, we make our way to the food hall, where your vouchers can be exchanged for a delightful cream tea. We are ready then to step into an enchanted garden that comes alive with dazzling colour, twinkling lights and festive cheer.
