NORFOLK BROADS STEAM & CRUISE

With a comfort stop en-route, we arrive in Aylesham where we take the narrow gauge steam train for an 18 mile journey through the Bure Valley to Wroxham. After arriving in Wroxham, we have time here to enjoy this beautiful village with the opportunity for a spot of lunch (not included). Then we travel onto Horning where we board the superb Mississippi river boat, The Southern Comfort, for a wonderful 1½ hour cruise on the Norfolk Broads.

HYTHE, DYMCHURCH & RYE

A lovely day out to three of the south coasts prettiest and quaint resorts. We start our day in Hythe with its blend of historical significance and natural beauty. Secondly we head to Dymchurch with its beautiful sand and shingle beach, which is perfect for anyone looking for a sweeping beach with a touch of seaside town charm. Finally we head further west across Romney Marsh to Rye, where its ancient medieval streets are clustered around a sandstone hillside, overlooking the meandering River Rother and Romney Marsh.

SCOTTS GARDEN CENTRE & SUNDAY LUNCH AT HADLEIGH KITCHEN

Firstly to Rochford, Essex and the well equipped Scotts Garden Centre. Offering a wide range of plants and all things to do with your garden, you may well find a bargain. There is also a restaurant for refreshments. Following our visit, we journey on to Hadleigh Kitchen, Hadleigh’s premier Bistro for a delightful 2 course Sunday lunch with all the trimmings you’d expect.
