CHARTWELL HOUSE & GARDENS AND RIVERHILL HIMALAYAN GARDENS

Step into the cherished home of Sir Winston Churchill, one of Britain’s most iconic leaders. Chartwell was Churchill’s family residence for over 40 years, and offers a glimpse into his personal life above and beyond politics. The house is presented as it was in the 1930’s, when Churchill spent most of his time here with his beloved wife Clementine and their four children. Each room tells a story, filled with treasures and memories that reflect his legacy.

HIDDEN LONDON AND THE REGENTS CANAL

In 1666 the Great Fire swept away much of the London of our ancestors but the flames died to ashes to leave one corner of the City untouched. The morning tour includes the precincts of St. Paul’s, a rose garden in the haunted ruins of Greyfriars, Postman’s Park, historic Smithfield and London’s oldest parish church of St Bartholomew the Great. With a gentle walking tour, a coach tour and a relaxing canal cruise through Regents Park, this is a day of great contrasts and stories.
