Day excursions

Good Golly Miss Molly, don’t be a Cathy’s Clown as it’s time to dust off those Blue Suede Shoes, and get Dreamin as en-route to the restaurant we make a short stop at Herne Bay. After time here we visit this new venue for you to enjoy lunch and some Great Balls Of Fire entertainment. We travel down to Millies Restaurant in Westgate-on-Sea to savour a Heartbeat two course lunch of fish & chips with a cheesecake dessert.

We travel to Chenies Manor in Hertfordshire for a wonderful day to browse amongst expert horticulturists, garden items, crafts, food court and so much more. Lunch can also be purchased and tea is served in the Manor Gardens or the Garden Room. Following our visit here we drop in for a little time at the delightful Cathedral City of St Albans.

Travel down to West Sussex for not one but two elegant and traditional seaside resorts. Firstly to Bognor Regis a quintessential English seaside resort. Then onto Littlehampton, with two award-winning beaches, the beautiful River Arun and a large seafront green making it a popular destination for all.

Our first port of call is the Sussex Tropical Butterfly Gardens, where you get the chance to stretch your legs within a tropical flight area. An environment which is carefully controlled and monitored to ensure perfect conditions for the live butterflies. Following our visit, we continue our journey to the wonderful High Beeches Water & Woodland Gardens. Please note that this trip is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with mobility issues as the woodland garden and paths are grass and uneven in places. The terrain is also quite undulating.

A summer special on the Tereza Joanne with Pete George bringing the sounds of the Islands in the Sun. Take a tropical journey from the Bossa Nova tempo of The Girl From Ipanema to the Calypso hits of Harry Belafonte, so Shake Shake Señora! A super two course lunch is included.
