John Pinkerton Canal Cruise
A pleasant country drive through Surrey takes us to Farnham where we have plenty of time for lunch before continuing into Hampshire and Odiham where we join our cruise on the Basingstoke Canal. Please note this is not wheelchair accessible, as you must be able to negotiate 5 steps into the cabin.
Hythe Market River Cruise with Cream Tea
A different day out today as we sail from Southampton over to Hythe, where we will disembark to enjoy some shopping in Hythe’s quaint little town centre with its lively Tuesday market. Returning in the afternoon, enjoy a cream tea and cruise around the port of Southampton with great views of the cruise ships when in port.
Newbury & Horse Drawn Barge with Cream Tea
Newbury is a lovely small town with a large market square, rare medieval Cloth Hall, lots of independent and well known high street stores, cafes and restaurants. In the afternoon we make the short journey to Kintbury, where we take a relaxing horse drawn cruise on the Kennet & Avon canal, with a cream tea served on board.
Royal Ascot Ladies Day
Revered across the globe, Royal Ascot is the seasonal event of the year playing host to the finest horse racing, spectacular fashion and delicious food and drink each June. Our tickets are for the Queen Anne Enclosure, the only public enclosure with views of the parade ring. On arrival at the course, we will set up a picnic buffet with Champagne and other bubblies. PLEASE NOTE THAT ROYAL ASCOT ENFORCES A STRICT DRESS CODE WITHIN THE QUEEN ANNE ENCLOSURE.
Windsor by river and Savill Gardens
Firstly we take a river cruise from Runnymede, which includes a lunch, with an afternoon visit to the great Savill Gardens. Part of the Windsor Great Park, its 35 acres of beautifully designed gardens can be enjoyed by everyone. Followed by a lovely cream tea. Please note the bar aboard the boat operates on a cash only basis.
