Day excursions

After boarding at historic Runnymede, the boat will cruise through Old Windsor Lock and continue through the pretty villages of Old Windsor and Datchet before travelling through the grounds of Windsor Castle, the boat then passes through Romney Lock and arrives in Windsor where you have 3 ½ hours sightseeing in this famous town.

A nice day visiting this lovely Cathedral City, with a fine market, great high street shopping, museums, lots of cafes and bars, all within a short walking distance.

The National Flower Show returns to Hylands House & Estate, which is a prestigious Grade II* listed Estate encompassing 574 acres of historic parkland in Essex.

Experience the public dramas and private lives of Henry VIII, his wives the queens and their children in the world of the Tudor court. Discover the spectacular baroque palace built for William III and Mary II and explore Hampton Court Palace’s outdoor space and 60 acres of magnificent gardens.

We visit Canterbury where we will spend a couple of hours before travelling onto the delightful Kent seaside resort of Whitstable, famed for its oysters.
