Day excursions

A little further afield today as we visit the beautiful coastal town of Sheringham on the North Norfolk Coast, arriving late morning, we have plenty of time to explore the Blue Flag Beach, the old town fishing haunts with numerous shops or perhaps a trip on the Steam Engine (not included).

A great day out starting with a visit to Saffron Walden, with many fine, old buildings and good shopping. We then take a beautiful scenic drive through the countryside to The Fox Inn, Finchingfield for a light afternoon tea.

Don’t Be Cruel to yourself and join us for a fantastic day with a visit to Herne Bay en-route. After time In The Ghetto we continue our journey to Millies Restaurant in Westgate-on-Sea and enjoy the Iconic sound of the Elvis Presley tribute act. Also included and Always On Your Mind is a fish & chip 2 course lunch, which if you don’t want, you can always Return To Sender.

We visit Canterbury on market day where we will spend a couple of hours before travelling onto the popular Dobbies Garden Centre for all those late summer treats.

Audley End House and Gardens is the best place in England to discover how a great house worked in the past. You can explore the great hall, state rooms and intimate private apartments, all decorated with fine furniture and works of art. The grounds at Audley End were designed by Capability Brown, so there’s acres of beautiful, award winning parkland to explore too.
