Day excursions

Henley-on-Thames is one of the most beautiful towns in England and is internationally renowned for its annual Regatta, but offers so much more. After some time wandering the town, we board our boat to explore the beauty and history of the River Thames from the luxurious, glass encased saloon of Hibernia! On board you will receive delightful refreshments. A cash bar is available for further refreshments.

We make our way to Portsmouth for the short Hovercraft crossing to Ryde on the Isle of Wight. Once there, you will find a great range of things to do in the largest town on the Isle of Wight. From its well established shopping streets to coastal amusements there is something for everyone.

Mamma Mia, Here We Go Again, we’re off to Docklands not Waterloo as we board the Tereza Joanne for an incredible afternoon with a Cher tribute act. Great entertainment is also topped off with a 2 course lunch prior to the performance.

Travel to Windsor and join our Blue Badge guide for a tour of the magnificent Castle. There will be time to buy refreshments beneath the castle walls before stepping inside the late Queen’s favourite residence. You will also visit St George’s Chapel which has been the scene of so many Royal family and ceremonial events and is also where you will see the resting place of HM Queen Elizabeth II along with another ten monarchs buried in the chapel.

A revised format of a popular tour for all of our antique enthusiasts and wine lovers. We travel to Denbies Vineyard near Dorking for an Antiques Fair hosted by Sunbury Antiques. After time spent browsing the fair, we take a land train ride through the vineyard taking you to some of the most beautiful viewing points over the Surrey Hills and surrounding countryside.
