One of our most popular days out, known as the sunshine resort due to its location on the south coast. Eastbourne offers so much, with an immense, well-kept promenade, traditional pier and plenty of shopping. So treat yourself or get the kids to spoil you, after all it is Mothers Day!

This event, held in Victoria Gardens, brings together the best of Kent’s producers and exhibitors, where chefs from across the county offer unmissable live cooking demonstrations, local retailers offer taste sessions and there are free to attend childrens activities as well.

Travel down to West Sussex for not one but two elegant and traditional seaside resorts. Firstly to Bognor Regis a quintessential English seaside resort. Then onto Littlehampton, with two award-winning beaches, the beautiful River Arun and a large seafront green making it a popular destination for all.

A seafront amusement park, sand and shingle beaches, busy city centre and fish ‘n’ chip shops leading down to the country’s longest pier; Essex’s Southend on-Sea has all the trappings of a classic British seaside resort.
