As most of you are aware, our holidays to Lake Garda were very popular and sought after before the horrid pandemic struck, so we are delighted to return to the beautiful shores of this stunning region. Our holiday is based at the excellent 4* Hotel Sole, amazingly located right on the shore at the northern tip of the lake and bang in the middle of the medieval town of Riva del Garda.

A stunningly scenic holiday beckons as our base for this holiday is on the outskirts of St Georgen im Attergau, located in the Salzkammergut region, or, quite simply, the Austrian Lake District. This beautiful region has more than 30 lakes, forest clad Alpine mountains rising 6500 feet into the sky, picturesque lakeside towns and villages and historical cities.

The relaxing resort of Roses is situated in one of the most beautiful regions of Spain, the Costa Brava. This area has it all, a nice warm climate, wonderful sandy beaches, stunning cliffs, evergreen forests and majestic mountains. A camera will be a must for taking breathtaking panoramic views across the region.

Our ever popular visit to Valkenburg, affectionately known as “Christmas town”, is this year complemented by a late summer visit. The wonderful café and bar filled streets are a pleasure to sit, eat, drink and soak up the atmosphere on a warm afternoon or evening just as much as they are under the gaze of the dazzling Christmas Lights of the winter. A truly stunning place to visit.
