Day Excursions

We travel to the lovely town of Ware, where we enjoy a 2 course lunch at the Waterside Inn. After lunch we board the boat directly from the restaurants private garden terrace for our 150 minute cruise. On the cruise you will pass the unique Ware gazebos that overhang the rivers edge before your journey to Hertford, the county town of Hertfordshire.

Travel to the Inn on the Lake and spend an afternoon immersed in the Seventies with one of the UK’s best Abba tribute bands, Abba Chique. An uplifting afternoon as they work through the incredible ABBA back catalogue - hit after hit. Before the show starts, we have our first course festive lunch, with a second course served in the interval. Great value.

We travel to the ever popular Dobbies Garden Centre and while away some time searching for those festive goodies. We then make the trip to the Hamlet of Plucks Gutter where a welcoming Christmas lunch with entertainment awaits at this renowned public house, beautifully located on the Great Stour and its tributary the Little Stour.

A trip to London like no other. We enjoy a fish & chips lunch with a cheesecake dessert and a traditional London cuppa chucked in before our tour really begins. Following lunch, we are joined by our Blue Badge guide as we board the coach for the trip to St Paul’s Cathedral and the blissful 45 minute Choral Evensong. As the sun sets over London, let us dazzle you with iconic landmarks and shop windows all dressed with glittering lights.

Firstly we enjoy a countryside drive to our lunch venue, The Swan in Forest Row, where we enjoy a one course festive meal. After lunch, we are transported to the magical world of Glow Wild, Wakehurst’s award-winning lantern trail. As darkness falls, journey through the wild botanic landscape in Sussex adorned with over 1000 beautifully hand-crafted lanterns.
