Day Excursions

Firstly we take a visit to Bexhill on Sea. Beneath its terrace, a classical colonnade frames broad views across the bay to Beachy Head. In Bexhill-on-Sea, modern vintage shops, quirky places for art and music, and independent cafés and restaurants, defy traditional seaside stereotypes. We then go to the Star Inn for a hearty lunch.

This summer the Knights of Royal England will be entertaining visitors with exhilarating displays of action, stunts, falls and fights in an authentic arena complete with a Royal Box. Battling it out in the saddle and on foot in one-to-one combat, the valiant knights will then compete for points to find this season’s ultimate champion.

One of the best regimental museums in the country. Situated adjacent to Winchester’s Great Hall and within easy walking distance of the City centre, The Royal Green Jackets (Rifles) Museum, opened in 1989, is one of the best regimental museums in the Country.

Firstly we spend a couple of hours at Royal Tunbridge Wells and the famous Pantiles, before heading on to Notcutts Garden Centre. A family run business, Notcutts has a rich heritage and involvement in show gardens winning 50 gold medals at The Chelsea Flower Show over the years and more recently a Large Gold Medal at Sandringham Flower Show in 2016.
