SANDWICH & DEAL
Our first stop will be in the beautiful town of Sandwich. Sandwich was one of the cinque ports and still has many original medieval buildings, including several listed public houses and gates in the old town walls, churches, almshouses and the white mill. After time here we will then make our way to the quaint, quirky and one of the most charming coastal towns in Kent, Deal.
SOUTHEND-ON-SEA
A seafront amusement park, sand and shingle beaches, busy city centre and fish ‘n’ chip shops leading down to the country’s longest pier; Essex’s Southend-on-Sea has all the trappings of a classic British seaside resort.
KENT COUNTY SHOW
The Kent County Show is the region’s showcase event for farming, agriculture and countryside life. Various animals including horses, vintage vehicles, retail stands and much more converge on the stunning surroundings of the Kent Showground for a celebration of the best in the county.
HERNE BAY & WHITSTABLE
A wonderful day visiting two great Kentish seaside towns, firstly Herne Bay and then later we drive to Whitstable for the rest of the afternoon.
FOLKESTONE
There’s simply no other place like it. Breath-taking beauty, cobbled streets and stunning shorelines make this corner of the Kentish coast one of the best places to visit and explore.
