The Suffolk coastal tour – New Excursion

Explore the Suffolk Coast with visits to Southwold and Aldeburgh and enjoy a fish & chip lunch at the famous Flora Tea Rooms on Dunwich beach. In the afternoon we continue along the coast. Thorpeness is an eccentric puzzle of mock Tudor houses and the quirky “House in the Clouds”. In the elegant little Edwardian resort town of Southwold old cottages of great charm cluster around the gleaming white lighthouse and candy coloured beach huts line the shore.

Alton Garden Centre and carvery at Hadleigh Kitchen – New Excursion

A trip to Wickford in Essex and the impressive Alton Garden Centre. Offering a wide range of plants and all things to do with your garden, you may well find a bargain. There is also a restaurant for refreshments. Following our visit, we journey through Essex countryside to the Hadleigh Kitchen, Hadleigh’s premier Bistro for a delightful Sunday carvery with all the trimmings you’d expect.

Henley-on-Thames with river cruise and refreshments – New Excursion

Henley-on-Thames is one of the most beautiful towns in England and is internationally renowned for its annual Regatta, but offers so much more. After some time wandering the town, we board our boat to explore the beauty and history of the River Thames from the luxurious, glass encased saloon of Hibernia! On board you will receive delightful refreshments. A cash bar is available for further refreshments.

Arundel and the medieval castle

Firstly we spend time in the small market town of Arundel in the South Downs National Park in West Sussex. Arundel combines 1000 years of history with independent shops, contemporary art galleries, restaurants, cafés and delightful drinking spots. Without a doubt, the most dominant structure is the impressive medieval castle which looms high on the hill above the town, there is plenty to discover in this fantastic castle.
